Stop 1: Tranquility at Vidiani Monastery (25 mins). Your Lasithi Plateau Excursion begins with a scenic drive up the mountains. Our first stop is the peaceful Vidiani Monastery, nestled at the foot of Mount Louloudaki. Enjoy its quiet courtyard and beautiful frescoes, offering a gentle start to your day.
Stop 2: The Mythical Zeus Cave OR Lasinthos Eco Park (1 hour 40 mins). Next, we head towards the legendary Psychro Cave, widely known as the mythical birthplace of Zeus.
⚠️ IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR 2026: The Cave of Zeus is undergoing major state-funded restoration works. If the cave is closed to the public on the day of your tour, we have you covered! Instead of the cave, we will visit the fantastic Lasinthos Eco Park. Here, you will step into a cultural treasure where age-old Cretan crafts come to life.
Stop 3: The Living History of Krasi Village (20 mins). Following the cave or eco-park, we take a refreshing break at the traditional village of Krasi. Stroll past its ancient freshwater springs and stand in awe beneath the oldest plane tree in Crete.
Stop 4: Cretan Flavors at the Olive Mill Farm (2 hours). Your unforgettable Zeus Cave Excursion concludes at a beautiful olive mill. • Pick-up Protocol: Consult the pick-up table below for your exact location. Punctuality is vital: Please be at your pick-up point 10 minutes early. The bus follows a strict schedule and cannot wait for late arrivals.
• Infant Safety: Infants (0-3) travel free but must sit on a parent's lap as no separate seat is reserved.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
• Free Cancellation: Get a 100% full refund if you cancel at least 24 hours before the tour departure (defined as the time of the first pick-up of the day).
• Late Cancellations & No-Shows: No refund will be issued for cancellations made within 24 hours of departure or if you fail to show up at the pick-up point on time.
• Operator Adjustments: We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel the tour due to adverse weather, force majeure, or insufficient participation. In case of cancellation by us, you receive a full refund.
